Gift of the Givers and TAWI Team Up to Help South Coast Animals
A feel-good moment for our furry friends as Gift of the Givers and TAWI team up to deliver vet supplies and much-needed care along the South Coast
Imagine This…
Itās not every day that you see a massive truckload of veterinary supplies roll in with one mission , to help those who canāt ask for help themselves.
Earlier this month, the Gift of the Givers Foundation delivered a generous load of veterinary essentials to support both community animals and dedicated local welfare efforts on the South Coast. Their green-and-white truck, emblazoned with āBest Among People Are Those Who Benefit Mankind,ā pulled into town with more than just supplies, it brought hope, healing, and heart.
š A special thank you goes out to Linda from TAWI (Transkei Animal Welfare Initiative) who coordinated sterilisation efforts for cats abandoned along the local beaches. Itās a story of quiet heroes showing up, again and again, to care for creatures left behind.
The TAWI team , smiling in front of their clearly loved outreach vehicle ā unloaded boxes of supplies, ready to distribute and make a tangible difference for furry lives that too often go unseen.
In a world that sometimes feels chaotic, this story reminds us of the kindness still moving under the surface ā in vet kits, community care, and in the hands of people who show up when it matters.
