Bushbuck Trail – Southbroom

Starting Point: Behind the Southbroom Tennis Club (Eyles Park) on Captain Smith Road.
Alternate parking also available at Polafris Safari’s on Tavistock Road.

Trailfinder: Established by local environmentalists David Hallé (Southbroom Conservancy founder) and Ted Rudzinsky, it traverses conservation lots 921, 690, and Erf 720.

Trail Highlights

Length & Duration: A meandering 1–2 km route. Expect to spend at least an hour immersed in nature.

Terrain: Dense coastal woodland with natural footpaths, gentle slopes, permanent bridges, benches, and interpretive signage. Regular conservation efforts help maintain its natural character.
