Before the 4 restaurants, ziplines and gourmet pancakes, there was just a dirt road, a banana stall, and one family's big leap of faith.
In 2004, Gloria and Werner Hoffman traded city life for banana trees β packing up their three young kids and heading to the South Coast with a dream to build something rooted, real, and extraordinary. The humble stall they bought had been around for nearly 50 years before a single tar road reached it. What they built from there is the Mac Banana you know and love today: a buzzing destination packed with adventure, flavour, and heart.
