South Coast’s Favourite Festival
If you’re craving the kind of weekend that shakes your soul, fills your cup, and supports something bigger than just a good time, mark your calendars. OppiKus Music Festival 2025 is back — bigger, bolder, and more meaningful than ever.
🎪 Happening on 11 & 12 July at Douglas Mitchell Sports Grounds in Uvongo, this is more than just a music event. It’s the largest live music festival on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, drawing in thousands of music lovers, families, and local supporters for two unforgettable days under the winter sun.
But it’s not just the lineup that makes OppiKus a must-attend event…
Unlike typical festivals, OppiKus is proudly presented by Round Table Margate 46, a community organisation deeply rooted in service and support. Every cent raised helps fund local charities, outreach projects, and hands-on initiatives that uplift communities across the region.
When you buy a ticket to OppiKus, you’re not just getting access to epic live performances. You’re backing a cause. You’re feeding families. You’re helping kids. You’re investing in the heartbeat of the South Coast.

This isn’t luck. it’s Locals. Building, Backing, Believing.
The South Coast’s glow-up?
not by chance – by choice.
You know it – we’re just getting started
when you back local, you ignite purpose.
you fund dreams.
you feed families.
you fuel the heartbeat of a town that refuses to be average.
this is sweat, soul, and second chances.
it’s “i’ve got you” in the form of a flat white.
it’s someone’s rent paid because you said “i’ll take two.”
school fees paid because you booked that table.
big brands? they don’t know your name.
but local? local sees you.
local is you.
this isn’t small.
this is everything.
because every swipe here builds something real.
and we’re just getting started.
#thelocalfirstchallenge is more than a simple hashtag, it’s a commitment to our shared future, it’s about recognizing the power we hold in our hands, the ability to shape our community through our everyday choices. Together, we can create a Hibiscus Coast strengthened by dreams, connections, and shared prosperity.
