Description
Siyavuna Kumnandi is more than a name – it’s a purpose. Rooted in the heart of the KZN South Coast, Siyavuna empowers smallholder farmers – especially women and youth – to grow chemical-free, organic produce through sustainable methods that honour the land and uplift the people.
From seed to sale, every part of the journey is a story of dignity, community, and economic empowerment. Whether it’s a bag of beetroot powder, fresh farm vegetables, or the legendary “Kumnandi” label (meaning “delicious” in isiZulu) – you’re not just buying food, you’re backing futures.
What We Do:
Organic Farmer Training: SETA-accredited training in sustainable, chemical-free farming
Youth Mentorship & Upliftment: Intergenerational skills-sharing and empowerment
Market Access: Helping local farmers sell to retail, restaurants, and health stores
Kumnandi Product Line: Nutrient-rich, locally grown vegetables and powders
Community Support: Feeding schemes, school partnerships, and more
Our Mission:
To create thriving, independent local farmers who grow with pride and purpose, and to connect communities with food that’s as good for the body as it is for the soul.
