Chef Thami, whose full name is Thamsanqa Dlamini, describes himself as a self-taught and self-motivated food revolutionist and he has extensive experience in the culinary and hospitality industries.

 

He is a CULINARY INNOVATOR!  Thami is focused on promoting and evolving African food to global standards and this speaks to a significant and growing movement within the culinary world, which specifically highlights Chef Thami's role as a culinary ambassador.  He manages to realign African and Eastern dishes beyond the perception of just "traditional" or "home-style" cooking and presents them as sophisticated, complex, and high-quality cuisine worthy of fine dining recognition.
