My passion for creating art out of what the surf brings to the earth grew tenfold after visiting countries like Madagascar and Mauritius. I started creating art out of my findings full-time in 2008.

Awe of the ocean led to my fascination with water and specifically the sea. I found to be peaceful, colorful, and tranquil while also being intoxicating and dangerous. As I developed a deeper appreciation for the sea throughout life, I became even more fascinated with it. Understanding what grows in it, how it is maintained, and how it is sustained. Bringing to life these parts of the sea is what I like about driftwood art.
