Mpenjati Eco-Festival

Get ready for a fantastic day out at the Mpenjati Eco-Festival 2025, hosted by the Mpenjati Nature Reserve Honorary Officers group in partnership with Mpenjati Conservancy, with support from the Mzimkhulu HO Group
This year’s event takes place on the beautiful north bank of the Reserve, with plenty happening throughout the area

Expect a packed programme of exciting demos, guided walks, inspiring talks, hands-on workshops and loads of fun activities for the kids

Conservation champions, guest speakers and passionate nonprofit organisations will be there, along with stalls showcasing everything from renewable energy and eco-living to upcycling and sustainable goodies It’s all about reconnecting with nature, sparking new ideas and celebrating the beauty of the wild

Feeling peckish? Grab a bite from the refreshment stalls, pack a lekker picnic or fire up one of the braai spots and make a whole day of it

Entry to Mpenjati Nature Reserve is just R40 per adult and R20 for kids under 12. All activities are free, but donations towards conservation efforts are always appreciated
