The craze is real, with some willing to part with serious cash to complete their sets. But on our Hibiscus Coast Seconds Facebook group, one incredible nine-year-old decided to take the collectible mania in a whole new direction — and for a beautiful cause,
Rordon Cowley made an additional pledge of R2,000, bringing the total raised to an incredible R4,000 for the SPCA.
Bidders didn’t have to be collectors themselves—many joined just to support the cause. With the high spirits and generosity of the community, this donation will soon be making a difference for animals in need, as the family has just “done the deal” at the SPCA.
The Tedders’ , who live by the motto “Be the change you wish to see in the world,” have inspired their community with this generous act. An awesome family indeed, showing that even small gestures can make a big difference! On the same group, locals are now selling or swapping their minis, with profits going to various charities.
The Hibiscus Coast is showing us what it means to give back. Here’s to more stories of generosity and the young heroes who remind us that we all have something to give.
